Israel Museum’s International Council

From Thought to Form

This year’s International Council, From Thought to Form, will focus on the creative process behind the curation and production of the Israel Museum’s exhibitions – from concept to completion.  The theme expands upon the behind-the-scenes glimpses into the multi-faceted inner workings of the Museum which have proved so popular with Council participants.  It will take place against the backdrop of the Museum’s diverse program of current exhibitions while also offering an exclusive sneak preview into the Museum’s 2020 exhibition.

The International Council will open Sunday evening with the reception at the King David Hotel, hosted by the Federmann family, and culminate with a festive closing dinner at a surprise venue.  In between, guests will enjoy curator-led tours of current exhibitions; hands-on workshops; meetings with guest artists, curators, and professional staff; a Gala dinner; tours to galleries and collections; a visit to Tel Aviv; talks and discussions with distinguished guest speakers; and much more.
